I play an Arcane/Frost blood elf mage on live, and I felt that I needed to re-create her to test out Arcane, so I have. Her name is Katarissa, and I quite like her. So, therefore, I’ve talented her up similarly to what I play in live (I’m not a good mage, btw, it’s more because I like the thought of a Blood Elf Arcane mage!)
Marksman hunters have changed in Legion in as much as they don’t have a pet anymore, taking away one of the core mechanics that have marked hunters since Closed Beta in Vanilla. Hunters are often times picked as an ‘easy’ class because of the pet, so I’m curious to see how Marksman will play without that added layer of security.
Just because she’s short doesn’t mean she doesn’t have an Alpha personality! 😉
Now, there’s a few things I want to say before I get started on the Hunters themselves. I don’t play one in live, but I thought it’d be a good thing to spend some time with them, and I have no idea what I’m doing.
To start off with as a druid, you start as a Balance druid, in moonkin form. Hamuul Runetotem telsl you that he really wants to speak with you in Moonglade. So before I head off, of course, the normal bars, buttons, auto loot etc 🙂
Havoc Demon Hunters are the DPS of the Demon Hunter world. They slice and dice and throw eyebeams around and are just generally all over the place. Couple things about the Demon Hunters I think folks should know:
Before I go into Havoc and Vengeance Demon Hunters and their artifact quests, let’s take a look at their starting experience. First, you get to create your demon hunter – Night Elf or Blood Elf only, but HOLY CUSTOMIZATION BATMAN! Horns, tattoos, blindfolds, and skin wise you have so many different things. A Demon Hunter can have scales or little baby horns on their head, scars and their skin can be several different shades as well. The ‘special’ DH skins when it comes to the body show some amazingly tight abs – apparently, fel power makes it so you don’t have to attend the gym! The only drawback I can see thus far is when you use a DH specific skin on a blood elf, the earrings don’t show up.
For my Unholy Death Knight, I went with an Orc simply for the increased Pet Damage. I’ve never really played much with Unholy, having preferred Blood all this time (and only recently started a BE Frost DK which I’m loving levelling) so this is a bit of a new experience for me.
