Here’s another chapter of that story 🙂
First off sorry for missing two nights in a row. January 26th was Australia day which is a combination of the Fourth of July and Thanksgiving for those in the USA. Fireworks, BBQs, and celebrating the invasion of a country.
The 27th was Sarah’s birthday and we celebrated it at the Osborne Park Hotel with food, drinks, and lots of laughter, and plenty of Tears. I’m not entirely sure I’m emotionally ready to rehash what happened but suffice to say it was a fun but emotional night.
I think tonight I’ll just add an additional chapter of the story that I’ve already got for y’all. Enjoy 🙂
I’m so lazy these days, posting stuff I’ve already written… 😛 I’m still getting down to a new normal so it’s good for that. I present to you chapter two…
Hey y’all, back with another chapter of my little story. Is this something that you’re interested in me continuing to post?
Please let me know 🙂 And now, Chapter One!
Sleep is for the weak and therefore I am weak, hah. I’m exhausted today. It’s more than just physical though, it’s mental and emotional. But, as always, we must keep persisting.
I’ve been spending the day between cooking, cleaning up around the house and getting my geek on by watching episodes of the newly released Voltron: Legendary Defender on Netflix.
I’m also going to be super lazy today and post a bit of the prologue that I wrote a couple of years back. Teasers if you will 😛 This is more on my ‘Elements’ stories that I posted character information on yesterday 🙂
Hi y’all! Sorry I missed yesterday – was a lot more tired than I expected, and had some running around to do which made me even more tired than I anticipated.
I’m totally cheating these next two days. I know I introduced you a little bit to Talise and Kin, but I thought I’d give you some background on the two characters and into the little world they live in that I’ve created. 🙂 I’ve actually already written over 50k words about these guys a couple of years back!
It’s just past 8:30pm at night and I’m sitting at work typing this out listening to Apple music. I really want to go to the beach right now. I want to be out in the night dancing under the full moon and feeling the power that comes with it. Or, out in the city and feeling the hustle and bustle of everyone as they to and fro, and have their drinks and celebrate their weekends.
Instead, I’m at work, kicking off the first of my last five nights on the after hours shift roster that I work. I have about 10 hours to go on tonight’s shift… it’s not bad, really. The nights are good for quiet contemplation.
Tonight, I want either the sound of crashing waves or people around me. Typical, wanting what I can’t have tonight. 😉
Anyway, I suppose we’ll go back to fiction tonight… We’ll meet the woman with the white hair and golden eyes.
I want to say first off, to everyone who has commented on my writing to me personally and who are reading this, thank you. Your comments are uplifting and quite encouraging. That, and I feel like the Universe is beating me over the head with everyone telling me I need to continue, and I really appreciate that, thank you 🙂
Secondly, today will be fictional. I’m going to play a little bit with a Character I’ve created named Talise. She’s a selfish brat to start off with, but eventually her character arc will make her quite powerful and someone who is able to handle herself and who gives a damn about people other than herself… but until she gets there, she’s a drug addicted stripper who has a penchant for sleeping with anything as long as she can get off. You will learn why eventually as I dive into her story. As for the woman at the end, is she friend or foe? You’ll find out as well… eventually. Mwahahah!
Today, we return to fictional writing. It’s rough and unpolished, but it’s pretty much out of my head and on paper. The Roughest of Rough Drafts, if you will.
I’ve been struck by the muses of inspiration! Today is an idea that’s floating around in my head – all characters and plotlines etc are © Stacy Ann Thomas. The idea is that this main character, who is temporarily being known as Anna, is an aspiring chef who during her final in her home kitchen while she’s cooking a la Master Chef home restaurant style, unleashes her witch powers accidentially while humming a chant that she used to hear her mother whisper when she was a child. This is just a snippit that formed in my head during the day and I suspect we’ll be seeing more of her…
Day 4 and 5 – Oops
Geez, not yet a full week into the year and I’ve skipped a day, ouch! To be fair yesterday was pretty hard, we met with the Celebrant to discuss things for Sarah and we had a lot of running around to do – so last night all I wanted was to curl up with a book and veg (which I did). Today was pretty tough too – it was my brother in law and my niece’s birthday, and both were celebrated with a massive size hole in our chests – which we managed to get through with only a minimal amount of weeping.
Sarah’s friends were AMAZING. They threw a beautiful birthday party for her daughter, and it was full of love, and laughter. They totally brought to my mind the definition of the words “Ohana” – it’s not biological family, it’s also the family that you create yourself and these girls are definitely Ohana.
But, for now, I thought I might dip into the fiction side of things and write a little bit on the more creative side. And, as I’m a day behind, today’s post will be two pages. ❤ Enjoy.
