Sorry I missed posting on the weekend – went and did Telethon bingo on Saturday (we won a little bit of money, yay!) and on Sunday we had house cleaning and general running around. 🙂 Here’s more Katalyna though!
Arriving in Darkshire, the cursed town that sat closest to the tower of Karazhan, Katalyna handed over control of her Wintersaber, Xuehu, to the stable master and entered the well lit Inn. She made her way through the throng to where the bartender stood, pouring a drink. “Hello. I’m looking for a man named Truckherder.” She murmured, smiling at the bartender. He looked at her for a moment before gesturing to a man who sat in the corner with his back to two walls, wary eyes scanning the inn. “Thank you.”
Sorry I missed yesterday – had to bed early as I had to go to work early. Here’s part four!
More about Katalyna – this one is a bit longer than normal, but I wanted to get through to where you find out she’s *gasp!* a SHAMAN! haha.
Here’s the next part of Katalyna’s journey…
I’ve been inspired to write about my online persona. She’s a level 110 Pandaren Shaman by the name of Katalyna, which coincidentially is one of my nicknames. Funny that. 😛 I thought I might start writing her story, her background. I like creating stories for my characters, it brings them to life for me and gives me an extra reason to want to play them.
I play an Arcane/Frost blood elf mage on live, and I felt that I needed to re-create her to test out Arcane, so I have. Her name is Katarissa, and I quite like her. So, therefore, I’ve talented her up similarly to what I play in live (I’m not a good mage, btw, it’s more because I like the thought of a Blood Elf Arcane mage!)
Katalila is an undead that I created for the amusement value more than anything. I decided that since I never really played hunters, instead of playing the races that are typically hunters, I’d play a gnome and undead. And then they added in Beastmaster in the latest patch, so I have a Farstrider. (So tempted to level one in Legion…)
Marksman hunters have changed in Legion in as much as they don’t have a pet anymore, taking away one of the core mechanics that have marked hunters since Closed Beta in Vanilla. Hunters are often times picked as an ‘easy’ class because of the pet, so I’m curious to see how Marksman will play without that added layer of security.
Just because she’s short doesn’t mean she doesn’t have an Alpha personality! 😉
Now, there’s a few things I want to say before I get started on the Hunters themselves. I don’t play one in live, but I thought it’d be a good thing to spend some time with them, and I have no idea what I’m doing.
