It’s just past 8:30pm at night and I’m sitting at work typing this out listening to Apple music. I really want to go to the beach right now. I want to be out in the night dancing under the full moon and feeling the power that comes with it. Or, out in the city and feeling the hustle and bustle of everyone as they to and fro, and have their drinks and celebrate their weekends.
Instead, I’m at work, kicking off the first of my last five nights on the after hours shift roster that I work. I have about 10 hours to go on tonight’s shift… it’s not bad, really. The nights are good for quiet contemplation.
Tonight, I want either the sound of crashing waves or people around me. Typical, wanting what I can’t have tonight. 😉
Anyway, I suppose we’ll go back to fiction tonight… We’ll meet the woman with the white hair and golden eyes.
“What’s your name?” Talise asked coyly as she sat down next to the woman with the white hair and golden eyes that had caught her attention while on stage. The other woman smiled slightly.
“Kin Manzana.” She murmured, running perfectly manicured nails up Talise’s arm. “I know your name too, Talise. Or, should I say, Typhoon?” She laughed, her voice tinkling.
“How do you know my real name?” Talise asked, leaning closer to the woman.
“I have many secrets, darling. How about I take you in the back for one of your legendary dances and share a few with you?”
A few moments later, Talise was leading Kin towards the champagne room. Kin sat down in the middle and patted her lap, offering Talise a seat. “Don’t worry about the music darling, we won’t be able to talk if it plays.” Shrugging, Talise sat down on Kin’s lap.
“So, there’s some rules with these dances…” Talise began but Kin shook her head, smirking at the dancer.
“I’m not here for a dance darling. I’m here to talk to you, and this is the best way for it.” She murmured. Carefully, Kin pressed one finger against the middle of Talise’s forehead, forcing Talise’s eyes to close and her breathing to go shallow. “Perfect…” Kin murmured. She began to chant softly, her eyes glowing as she continued to stroke Talise’s face. Once she finished, she gently stood up, ensuring that Talise didn’t fall off of her lap while in her trance. Taking the stripper by the hand, she led her outside of the room, snapping her fingers twice. Materializing out of the shadows, Kin’s bodyguards followed the woman as they escorted Talise out of the back door of the strip club.
“Create a visual.” Kin demanded immediately, not looking back at her guards. “Show her giving me a lap dance and then I leave and she leaves shortly after. Create the illusion that she went home.” She helped Talise into the back of a limo before turning around, her golden eyes flashing red.
“Now. I need to get her back to my house before this enchantment wears off.” She climbed into the limo behind Talise and nodded once at the driver. “Go.”
Uh oh… this isn’t any good for our Stripper is it?!
