Today’s day three of Envy’s Touch. Tomorrow’s post WILL be disturbing. Tonight is just a precursor. Please be warned.
A few months later…
Sam woke up, blinking in the bright lights of the room where she was staying. She had remained with Jacqui’s family for a few months now, and her life had steadily gotten better. Sam’s mother had finally sought counselling for her issues and was trying to get Sam to move back in with her. Jacqui’s parents were trying to convince Sam to go through with emancipation, so she could stay with them.
Unfortunately, Sam’s mother had threatened Jacqui’s parents with kidnapping charges if Sam didn’t return home. So this was the last night that Sam would get to spend in relative peace and sanity. She forced herself out of bed to where her meagre belongings remained stacked against the wall for her return to her mother and her house. It was like ripping off a bandaid – best to just get it over with. She squared her shoulders and prepared herself to return to her mom.
A month later…
Sam fingered her knife, watching as a thin ribbon of blood dripped down the edges. She was twitching as she watched it, her eyes wide and mad with envy. Having been in the house with her mother had stripped her of what little sanity she had regained living with Jacqui’s family… and deep inside, Envy’s hold had returned full force. This time, however, Sam had a plan.
Jacqui wouldn’t know what hit her. Sam giggled to herself in madness, licking the blood on the knife before putting it in her overnight bag. She had convinced her mother to let her stay the night at Jacqui’s house, as the two girls had renewed their friendship something fierce, and she was now going to spend time with her ‘bestie’.
Picking up the bag, she walked the few blocks to where Jacqui lived and knocked, being let in by Jacqui’s mom. She smiled brightly and soon found herself outside of Jacqui’s room. She entered to see her friend sitting there on her laptop, chatting aimlessly with someone. “Hi!” she chirped, putting her bag on the floor.
“Hey!” Jacqui smiled and turned off the laptop before turning her attention to Sam. Soon the two girls were laughing and talking just like old times.
Later that night…
Jacqui was sound asleep. Sam crept into Jacqui’s room, the syringe she had procured full of a drug that would keep Jacqui asleep. Her bag of supplies was in her other bag.
Quickly injecting Jacqui with the drug, Sam went to work while the drug took hold. She pulled out her items that she had stashed in her bag… a blonde wig that had been styled to look like Jacqui’s hair, a pair of coloured contacts that were the same shade as Jacqui’s eyes, and two breast inserts that would give Sam a curvier appearance up top. She had plans to hide her lower half for a while and explain it off through weight loss.
Placing the wig on her head, she began to sing softly, preparing to slake the ravenous thirst that Envy had started in her.
