Today marks the 31st day of my journey into my ‘page a day’.
Some days it’s rough! I end up not knowing what to write, or how to write. Even when giving myself a subject to write on, such as the Seven Deadly Sins, I’ve found myself struggling.
However, as the time has gone on, I’ve found myself looking forward some nights to my creative outlet. And I’ve also found myself daydreaming more, and being more inspired by every day things. My muses are singing to me again, which is brilliant! This is also helping me develop the discipline I need to write more… and I think it’s actually working.
Maybe… maybe I’ll end up an author after all some day. J
Tonight’s offering is more than a page. I present to you a character who will quite potentially grace this blog more often than not, Aislynn Ryan. Aislynn and any characters contained in her blog excerpts are copyright me and my intellectual property.
Also please note, I will be truncating most of my blog posts from here on out to make it a bit easier to find things J
This will be the last post this week on Pride. Starting Feb 1st, we will begin our focus on Sloth. I’m trying to get the hard ones out of the way (Gluttony, Pride, Sloth) because I reckon Greed, Envy and Wrath will be the easiest. (Tomorrow, I’ll probably waffle on and on as it’s the last day of the month and I will have done this every day, for a month!)
Pride is apparently the worst out of all the Seven Deadly Sins, so tonight I shall take a path through all of them. For those who have been reading my blog posts, you will recognize the Prince of Gluttony and his Bride… and I’ve even given you an introduction into the Banker, my Greed Demon.
Tonight’s post is going to be about pride, but it’s going to be about taking a good hard look at myself and one of the things I’m pretty prideful about, and that’s World of Warcraft.
Today’s offering is once again focusing on Vanity. From what I’ve read, Vanity and Pride seem to be about the same in the world of the Seven Deadly Sins, so I’ll probably flip back and forth between them.
Tonight I return to Pride/Vanity – which is apparently the greatest of the Seven Deadly Sins. I’m also looking at how Pride itself can come from doing good deeds. As a note: I’m actually not Christian, nor am I familiar with the Bible and it’s ways, but as I’m focusing on a very Christian sort of concept (the Seven Deadly Sins) my posts may be very Christian in origin, and there may be errors. Please accept them as creative license. Cheers!
Today’s Loremistress is a special Australia Day edition!!! I’ll return to the Seven Deadly Sins tomorrow – but this is just my thoughts on Australia and how lucky I am to live here.
Starting the week of Vanity/Pride as my next deadly sin – this is a pretty late post for today, but it’s still before midnight, so go me! J
This is a standalone.
